Big Božna
Big Božna Creek ((スロベニア語:Velika Božna)) or simply the Božna, also known as Božja Creek (),〔Bezlaj, France. 1956. ''Slovenska vodna imena'', vol. 1. Ljubjana: Slovenska akademija znanosti in umetnosti, p. 78.〕 or Big Creek ()〔 is a stream in northwestern Slovenia. It is the left source tributary of the Gradaščica, the right one being Little Creek (). It was recorded under the German names ''Salog bach'' or ''Sallog Bach'' (i.e., Zalog Creek) in the 18th century.〔Rajšp, Vincenc & Majda Ficko. 1998. ''Slovenija na vojaškem zemljevidu 1763–1787'', vol 4. Ljubljana: Znanstvenoraziskovalni center Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti, p. 296.〕 ==Course== The source of Big Božna Creek is in the Polhov Gradec Hills west of Ljubljana, not far from Kremenik.〔Blaznik, Pavle. 1973. ''Škofja Loka in loško gospostvo, 973–1803''. Škofja Loka: Muzejsko društvo, p. 12.〕 It forms part of the watershed of the Ljubljanica River. The road from Polhov Gradec to Črni Vrh runs through the Big Božna Valley.〔Planina, Francè. 1963. ''Slovenija in njeni kraji.'' Ljubljana: Prešernova družba, p. 48.〕 The Big Božna is joined by Little Božna Creek (, recorded in German as the ''Botschnia'' or ''Botschnia bach'' in the 18th century〔Rajšp, Vincenc & Majda Ficko. 1998. Ljubljana: Znanstvenoraziskovalni center Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti, p. 224.〕) about 2 km north-northwest of Polhov Gradec, and then by Little Creek () south of Polhov Gradec to form the Gradaščica River.
